RSWC NASCAR Modified Race Team was started with help from Modified veterans Jim Miller with 48 wins and four championships and Kevin Harding with 30 wins and two championships. The Team was created to be a stepping stone into Late Models and consists of three Grand American Modified Teams housed at the expansive RSWC Race Shop in the Sacramento, California.
This facility covers over 16,000 square feet with all the amenities to build and maintain winning race cars. The spacious shop has a machine shop, full fabrication shop, tire shop, warehouse, office space, a crew break area and work stations for ten race cars. Today the RSWC NASCAR Modified race team is led by NASCAR veteran Scott Rodgers from South Carolina.
Scott has won races as a Crew Chief in an impressive range of series including Hooters Pro Cup, ARCA, ASA, NASCAR Modifieds, Late Models and the All Pro Series. As a Busch Series Crew Chief for Brad Kesolowski, Scott gained valuable knowledge working with GM engineers in wind tunnel testing, pull down rigs and 7-post shaker rigs. Scott's background with shocks, coil bind set-ups, big bar/soft spring setup, bump rubber set ups and chassis geometry is impressive. His contribution is huge, as RSWC drivers won 3 out of the first 5 races Scott was with RSWC as Crew Chief. He continuously develops and advances the RSWC Modified Race Team performance.
