The heart of the RSWC program is focused on scouting for young drivers with the rare talent and potential to be NASCAR Cup Stars. Then training, molding and developing them into what Cup teams want and need with the most comprehensive development program created to date.
The term "Driver Development" is over used. Many rent-a-ride race car operations, driver schools and driver coaches use the term today. But most do not prepare the driver for a career in the big leagues. Ron Sutton's Winner's Circle is different … providing young stars in the making with driver and career development through vast racing experience and comprehensive training programs.
RSWC is not a rent-a-ride operation. A spot in the RSWC program is not for sale at any price. Drivers must earn their way into the program on talent and skill. Ron Sutton did not start as a team owner looking for ways to fill seats. He started the race operation he owns with four of the 24 race teams, based out of need to complete the program.
The RSWC Strategy:
After scouting for the most talented young drivers in the nation, RSWC develops them in multiple racing venues. We race drivers in various leagues of open wheel and fendered cars ... in primarily oval racing series (with a little road course racing). Our plan molds the young talented racers into very experienced, versatile, highly trained young drivers ... ready to race and win ... now.

Brief History of the RSWC Talent Scouting & Driver Development Program:
Ron Sutton is a 30+ year racing veteran in all forms of racing, including: Stock Cars, Super Modifieds, Drag Racing, Sprint Cars, Midgets, Karts & Road Racing. Ron won 85 races as a driver & over 300 as a Crew Chief and/or Driver Coach.
1997 - While helping coach one young talented driver, Ron got clear there is no set, solid structure for Drivers going to pro careers.
2001 – Ron started developing the RSWC program with young drivers in Karts.
2003 – Formed first Race Car Team alliance.
2004 – Held RSWC’s first annual talent search “shoot-out.” (460 drivers applied, 110 were interviewed, 22 tested & only 5 were chosen to develop.
2005 – First year of RSWC developing multiple drivers with RSWC Race Team Alliance.
2008 – The RSWC program has been in operation with multiple race car teams for 4 years. The RSWC Alliance is complete with 7 multi-team race operations fielding 24 race teams.
2009 - RSWC conducted its first annual Driver Talent Showcase/Combine in the Charlotte area, for NASCAR Team personnel to meet, interview and observe top RSWC Drivers perform.
2010 – RSWC expands training programs, expands Midget Team to 6 cars and expands Modified Team to 3 cars. Recruited Ex-Busch Series Crew Chief Scott Rodgers to oversee NASCAR Modified Team. Arranges for Driver test with top NASCAR Team.

Today the program is fully functional, with all the pieces in place ...
* National talent search process
* Development plans tailored to each driver chosen
* 7 Race series ladder to develop Drivers at different ages & stages
* 24 Race Team Alliance of top race teams on West Coast
* 26 course classroom training program for career development
* 12 top Driver Coaches teaching veteran strategies & techniques
* Career Coaching & oversight outside the cockpit
While all the pieces are in place in this comprehensive program … the program is still customizable to meet a NASCAR Team’s needs, plans & objectives.
RSWC is preparing for our seventh annual scouting, recruiting, interviewing and testing process for young talented drivers … known as “The Shoot-Out” … coming up in October 2010.
Last year we had 715 young drivers apply ... after resume review, we narrowed it down to 105 proven winners/champions to interview ... then 38 stand-out drivers to participate in our 2009 Shoot-Out.
The chosen few drivers, that we believe have what it takes, are invited to join in the Ron Sutton's Winner's Circle Driver Career Development Program.
RSWC is not in a position to offer free rides, nor is it a business for profit that does rent-a-rides to anyone with a checkbook. In the future, we plan to have major companies brand our program and help cover the costs, but today, the young racers’ families, our sponsors and their sponsors, pay the racing expenses.
Out of the 715, we found 11 very talented, fast, coachable young drivers. We have added them to 15 that we kept from last year ... and we are currently in the process of developing 26 drivers in various racing series with seven different race operations. We have plugged these drivers into our comprehensive training, coaching, racing and development programs. For information on the RSWC Driver line-up for 2010 click HERE.

RSWC offers:
A driver scouting, interviewing, profiling, sorting and testing program like no other. We literally can evaluate thousands of young drivers a year to sort out the young stars of tomorrow, from the rest of the pack.
After we find the few young racers with rare natural talents and years of racing experience ... and we fully develop them to fit what our NASCAR Teams want.
The 24 race teams in the RSWC Alliance simulate the environment of pro teams and crews, to prepare young drivers to race successfully with Pro Teams.

A relationship with RSWC provides our NASCAR Team clients with a comprehensive “A to Z” young driver development program. Plus …
Resources:
RSWC provides seven race operations, 85,000’ of shops, 24 race teams, additional manpower & human resources. Increase your Team’s footprint to include Top West Coast operations, people, race teams & driver coaches under one umbrella.
Time Savings:
A turn key scouting service with full evaluation capabilities. We field the phone calls … review the resumes …interview the drivers and parents … profile their behavior & intelligence ... arrange the on-track tests … sort out the young stars. We can involve a NASCAR team’s people to the degree they desire ... with one point of contact for multiple race teams & multiple drivers in development.
Thoroughness:
We are in no hurry to have drivers signed before they’re ready. We understand and appreciate the fact … if we refer a driver to your team … and they fail … RSWC has failed.
Until we have a young driver with the right talents, highly trained and ready to move to the next level … we’re in no hurry to recommend them. Once they’re ready … there is no reason to delay … because if we procrastinate, someone else will snap them up.
RSCW only refers young drivers to NASCAR teams when we believe they are the real deal, the whole package and they are ready to move to the next level.
Results:
Our focus is to find the few, rare young stars, and have them really prepared to succeed when our NASCAR client team places them progressively into their K&N Pro Series East/West, ARCA, Truck and/or Nationwide Cars … and then into Cup.
No Strings:
There are no strings attached to any RSWC driver. They are complete free agents. RSWC acts only as a conduit to connect star caliber young racers to NASCAR Teams.
Objectivity & Credibility:
RSWC has no other goal, than placing star caliber young drivers with top notch, forward thinking NASCAR Teams. We are not their parents. We are not their agents. We are an objective Scouting & Driver Development service.
We get it … the RSWC reputation is at stake. If RSWC refers a young driver to a team, and they are not really ready … if they are not really the whole package … if the driver does not live up to expectations … Ron Sutton & RSWC will have lost credibility with that team.
Privacy & Discretion:
Ron Sutton has worked long and diligently to earn the trust of pro race teams and personnel. He does not divulge who they are, drop names or make casual introductions of drivers to teams.
