Second Consecutive Trophy Dash Victory for Didinger

Didinger Captured Second Trophy Dash and a Pair of Top Threes at Stockton

Boyertown, PA- 17 year-old Sheldon Didinger drove to a pair of top three finishes in Saturday night’s USAC NorCal Focus Midget Series Spring Classic at Stockton 99 Speedway in Stockton, California. Didinger, competing in his second season for Ron Sutton’s Winner’s Circle Driver Development program, finished 3^rd and 2^nd in both Twin 30 lap features.

Didinger qualified fourth with a fast lap of 13.770 seconds around the quarter mile asphalt oval which set him on pole for the trophy dash. In the trophy dash, Didinger fresh off the season opener with a trophy dash victory was ready to claim another one. Didinger did just that as he took advantage of the start and walked away to a 1.207 second victory over his teammate Ricky Bowers.

Didinger Claims Trophy Dash and a Pair of Top Fives at Stockton

Boyertown, PA- 17 year-old Sheldon Didinger drove to a pair of top five finishes in Saturday night’s USAC NorCal Focus Midget Series opener at Stockton 99 Speedway in Stockton, California. Didinger, competing in his second season for Ron Sutton’s Winner’s Circle Driver Development program, finished 4^th in both Twin 30 lap features.

Didinger and veteran Teammate Ricky Bowers battled together throughout the day of racing. With qualifying being set from the last practice times and no heat races, Didinger stole the show for his first trophy dash victory at the quarter mile asphalt oval.

TALENT SEARCH WINNING SHOOT-OUT DRIVERS ANNOUNCED FOR 2012

SACRAMENTO, CA (January 17, 2012) – The annual talent search known as The Shoot-Out always sorts out the top talented young drivers from across the nation. Making the Shoot-Out is an honor in itself. Winning the Shoot-Out and earning a spot in Ron Sutton’s Winner’s Circle driver development program, along with big sponsorship dollars, is the goal.

In the previous year’s Shoot-Out 14 of the 933 drivers that applied made the cut. This year only 9 super talented young drivers won spots from the 965 applicants for the RSWC program and Star Racing Supply sponsorship dollars. “We had slightly more apply for 2012, however we were simply more selective in this year’s Shoot-Out,” stated RSWC Owner Ron Sutton.

JESSICA CLARK FIRST FEMALE 2-TIME USAC CHAMPION

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CALIFORNIA (November 30, 2011) – 17 year-old Jessica Clark became just the third female USAC champion in history, and the first to win two championships, winning two USAC Focus Midget championships behind the wheel of the Jessica Clark Racing #44 Focus Midget.

Jessica had wrapped up her first championship of the year in the USAC SoCal Pavement Focus Midget series before the Turkey Night Grand Prix. With her sizable points lead in the USAC Western Pavement Focus Midget series, she just needed to start the race at Turkey Night to claim her second Championship.

BRUNELLI TO RACE NASCAR K&N PRO SERIES WEST CAR AT PHOENIX

SACRAMENTO, CA (October 22, 2011) - 18 year old, Jessica Brunelli, will drive the 88 Pick-n-Pull Chevy Monte Carlo at the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West season finale at Phoenix International Raceway.

Brunelli has had two seasons in the NASCAR Driver for Diversity (D4D) program racing in the Whelen All-American Series.

In June 2011, Brunelli tested the number 88 K&N car with Naake Motorsports, and went on to drive for them at the Bullring in Las Vegas, Infineon, and Roseville.

12 YEAR OLD TREVOR HUNT WINS A PAIR OF USAC YOUNG GUNS MIDGET TITLES

KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI (October 20, 2011) – Ron Sutton’s Winner’s Circle driver Trevor Hunt, age 12 of Kansas City, MO, finished a very productive rookie campaign in the USAC Ford Focus Young Guns Midgets by winning both the USAC Western Pavement and USAC NorCal championships for the division.

With the championships, Hunt becomes one of the youngest USAC Young Gun champions in series history and he also finished second in the USAC Western Young Guns standings by just six points.

WALMER CLOSES USAC FORD FOCUS CAREER WITH SHASTA WIN

PORTLAND, OREGON (October 11, 2011) – 16 year-old Keegan Walmer ended his productive career in the USAC Ford Focus Midget Series in a big way by winning the feature at Shasta Raceway Park on Saturday night. The victory is Walmer’s 12^th between USAC Ford Focus and USAC Ford Focus Young Guns.

Walmer is a member of the Ron Sutton’s Winner’s Circle driver development program who has spent 2011 in transition towards NASCAR Modified racing. Walmer plans to race a full season in the NASCAR Modifieds in 2012 along with select events in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series.

TROPHY DASH WIN AND TOP-FIVE FOR RUNYAN AT STOCKTON

DENAIR, CALIFORNIA (October 11, 2011) – 18 year-old Bobby Runyan, Jr. returned to the site of his first career USAC Ford Focus Midget victory back in 2010, driving the #21 K&N Filters NASCAR Modified to a trophy dash win and fifth place finish at Stockton 99 Speedway. The races were part of the prestigious Fall Classic at the quarter-mile bullring with 24 Modifieds in the pits for three days of racing.

Runyan had an average finish of fourth in six Midget starts at Stockton 99 Speedway in 2010 but this weekend’s races marked his first Modified start at the speedway. The Ron Sutton’s Winner’s Circle development driver had his first Modified win at All American Speedway in 2011.

WALMER KEEPS UP NORCAL CHAMPIONSHIP PUSH WITH VEGAS POLE

PORTLAND, OREGON (October 4, 2011) – 16 year-old Keegan Walmer threw down a pole lap and a pair of top-five finishes against one of the strongest USAC Ford Focus fields on the season on Saturday night at the three-eights mile Las Vegas Bullring. The Ron Sutton’s Winner’s Circle driver leaves Vegas second in the USAC NorCal Ford Focus standings.

17 cars participated in the weekend’s activities with drivers from North Carolina and Utah joining the field for this highly anticipated race. Walmer showed off his experience at the series’ fastest track by taking quick time with a 15.227 in qualifying. The pole marks his fourth of the 2011 season.
